Things I'll be thinking about tonight as I fall asleep

1) Kaspar Hauser - this weekend watched The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser -- didn't believe it was a real story until I looked it up. There's a website devoted to feral children -- but how many of them were assassinated by mysterious strangers?

2) 1906 San Francisco Quake -- 100 years ago, SF was hit by one of the most significant earthquakes of all time. A lot of the buildings in SF today were rebuilt after being destroyed in that quake. When biking around today I came across the ending bits of a street opera that recreated moments from the disaster. It will happen again.

3) Super Columbine Massacre RPG -- spent some time this wknd killing Columbine high school students in an RPG... that sounds pretty fucked up when I write it down. Az. and I were arguing about the merits of this game. All I can say is, it's a lot more subtle & pointed than it sounds. Columbine is still the deadliest school shooting spree this country's ever seen. What were the killers thinking? If you've wondered, then you may find this game interesting. They end up in Hell, but that's not the end.
